This piece is a modern impression of medieval pipe & tabor music. The music is basically a palindrome moving mostly in a fast triple meter that also contains several rhythmic surprises. The piece is fairly demanding for all sections of the band and requires a pretty full instrumentation to be successful.

As the title indicates, the piece is meant as a celebration of God’s majesty and mercy. It is loosely based on musical impressions of Revelation 21:1, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the old earth had passed away”.
