Music for Wind Bands

A score and a sound file are provided for each piece. In some cases this is combined into one Scorch file. Read about Scorch here.

Because Scorch uses MIDI, many of the pieces have been converted to .PDF for the score and an mp3 sound file. The mp3s are either of a live performance or the Sibelius file recorded via Garritan sample libraries. In either case the sound, especially the percussion sounds, are much more realistic than MIDI.

    Grade 4-5. Like an elaborate medieval pipe and tabor piece. Although challenging, I think this is a rewarding piece.

  • Veni Emmanuel
    Grade 2. Designed as a combined choir, band and orchestra piece for Christmas programs, this piece is not hard to prepare and makes a nice presentation.
